Password Fields
Password fields are rendered just like a
text field which accepts entry. In this field, the characters
entered are replaced by a dot as each character is entered. The
following is an example of the password field:
The value entered into the field is saved to
the session state in its original form so the value can be
processed. Password fields are not exclusively used for
passwords. They can be used for any type of information that
the developer may want to hide on the screen, such as Social
Security Numbers or credit card numbers.
