The official performance measurement device for
most IT organizations is the annual employee performance appraisal. Computer professionals should not only be measured on the
traditional core aspects of work performance of quantity and quality
of work, but also on all the intangibles which are just as
important in appraising their contributions and how they go about
accomplishing their work. All of these measurements may enter into the
decision process for disciplinary action or termination of IT
employees and are detailed below.
